Here is where you can reigster for the Association Grade Referee Coaches Course.

This course teaches the theoretical and practical skills relevant to referee coaching at domestic and representative levels. The theoretical component will take between 6-8 hours and is then followed by practical training under the supervision of senior referee educators. Practical competency is then judged at the relevant level (SBL or high-age junior representative basketball) at a later time.

Courses currently available:

Online Delivery - across 3 sessions - 12th, 19th and 26th November 2018 - 6.00pm - 8.30pm.
Course cost is $20, to be paid via bank transfer before the event. Participants will receive further information but a computer, headset microphone and internet connection are required.


To undertake the course, participants should:
  • Be aged 17 or above
  • Hold State Development grade as a referee
  • Have been a referee coach at local and/or junior representative for at least 12 months, and
  • (preferred) Have been referee coaching junior representative basketball (BQJBC/CDC/QNJBC) for at least one full season.
