Sunday Social Mini League:
Please read the following carefully as there are changes for this term.
We have decided to finish the term with a 3 week, fun mini league. Players may only play in ONE team in the social league (one social mates OR one social comp team). This rule is to help with social gathering rules and to reduce the number of people switching between courts.
Sticks will be available to borrow and we will set up a station where sticks can be sanitised after being used. Due to goalie gear being harder to clean, social mates grade will play without goalies. Social competitive grade will play as usual with goalies as most goalies at that level own goalie gear. If your social competitive goalie needs to borrow gear, please get in touch as we have some equipment available to lend out for the duration of the mini league.
Dates: Sunday 14th, 21st, 28th June.
Times: Games are between 3:20pm and 9pm
Location: ASB Sports Centre, Kilbirnie.
Cost: $120 per team
Registrations due: Thursday 5th June, 5pm
Payment due: By third week (28th June)
Grades will be split depending on the number of teams registered.
Player rules:
Teams are mixed with a maximum of 4 adult male players on the court. Players under the age of 16 count as juniors. The minimum age for players is intermediate school age (year 7).
Social Mates Grade:
Format: 2 x 15mins. 5 stick players, no goalie. Mini goals.
Ideal for new teams and beginners (max 2 WFL players per game). WFL players CANNOT score in this grade.
Social Competitive Grade:
Format: 2 x 15mins. 5 stick players and 1 goalie. Full sized goal.
For more experienced/competitive players (max 5 WFL players per game)
We understand that some teams may not have all their players wanting to come back to sports this term. If you need help finding players we suggest posting in our facebook group dedicated to matching up teams and players: https://www.facebook.com/groups/125498264826077/
Please note any team still owing fees from term 1 will not have their registration accepted until term 1 fees are paid.
