Welcome to our online registration for the Netball Wellington Centre Representative Programme on offer to Under 14, Under 16, Under 18 and Open (18+) age groups in 2020.
Due to the impact of Covid 19, Netball New Zealand has had to cancel national 2020 tournaments for U14, U16, U18 and Open grade representative teams. Netball Wellington Centre has since established a replacement representative programme starting later than usual on Sunday 9th August and finishing Sunday 27 September. Unlike other years, players who register will be invited to stay on the programme for a series of development sessions and game days. All interested players are most welcome to register.
Prior to registration, please make sure you meet the following requirements:
* Registrants must be aged under 14 OR under 16, OR under 18 OR over 18 (open grade) as at the 1st of January 2020.
* Registrants must be currently registered, fully financial (no outstanding netball-related fees prior to 2020) and actively playing for a current school or club affiliated to the 2020 Netball Wellington Centre Winter Competition played on Saturdays at either the ASB Sports Centre or Hataitai Netball Courts.
Should an unaffiliated player wish to take part in another Centre's programme, dispensations may be arranged pending approval from both Centres. If your affiliated Centre is not compiling their own team/s please approach them to ask them to email their consent to eto@netballwellington.co.nz prior to the first development session date on 9 August.
Attendees will participate in their appropriate age group as at 1st January 2020. Participants will not be invited to take part in a higher age group. Intermediate age (Year 7&8) shall not be considered for inclusion in this programme. Please feel free to email eto@netballwellington.co.nz with any further related queries.
