Thanks for your interest in playing WFL for a Wellington Storm Club team.
WFL Summer League will run in Term 4 2020 and Term 1 2021.
Registrations are for a full season (both terms).
Game dates for Term 4 are: Sun 18th October - Sunday 6th December.
WFL Term 4 Training dates: Tuesdays 13th October - 1st December, or Thursdays 15th October - 3rd December.
Team trainings will be Tuesdays or Thursdays, 8pm-9:30pm at the ASB. How teams are made up for the Summer season is TBC.
Please select the correct product (Training or non-training team member). Please note that the non-training team will only go ahead if we have enough registrations. Non-Training Players must also have shown they have played previously at a high level. Training players please also indicate whether you would like to play WFL B only and whether you are available to train on Tuesday/Thursday or either day.
Training Player fee (includes 2 terms of games, trainings and license): $220. Storm Club volunteer coaches only pay $140.
Non-training Player fee (includes 2 terms of games and license): $140
WFL Details:
- Games are 3 x 15mins, effective time.
- Games are played between 3pm and 9pm on Sundays. Game days may be played if we cannot fit in all games on Sunday evenings.
- Teams are open to both female and male players. A player may only play for one WFL team per season.
- Minimum age to play is 14 years.
- Players who register for a Storm team will be assigned a team.
- A promotion/relegation game will be played between the bottom of A grade and the top of B grade after one round of the league (once each team has played each other once).
- U15 WFL players: In order to play for a Storm WFL team, any player still in U15s must register for and attend U15 training. Players only pay for WFL though (not U15s as well).
- Teams will have 1-2 goalies and around 15 stick players to ensure a high level of training and competition. Each team will have an assigned coach.
